Patricia Diane Flemming

Patty (Nash) Flemming had her start in this very pool as an eager ten and under. After a brief stint with the North Pole Aquatic Club, she hung up her cap and goggles for a four year hiatus only to return the summer of 1992. Under Coach Bob Solow, Patty Flemming was a member of NPAC the remaining four years of high school where she qualified for Junior Nationals and Senior Nationals. After graduating in 1996, she went on to swim at the Division I level at Colorado State University on a full ride scholarship. She qualified for the NCAA Championships her sophomore year in the 100 butterfly. Patty also competed at the 2000 Olympic Trials in that event. She went on to coach club swimming in Fort Collins and later returned to North Pole where she was the assistant coach for two years under Tom McLaughlin and coached as the head coach of NPAC for three years. After another hiatus, Patty has returned to the sport she loves and hopes to impart her knowledge and enthusiasm to a new group of hopeful athletes.
